Beneath the Star, direct sequel of From Above and Beyond, is a short film about a broken man, Jake (David Fisher), who tries to escape his grief by leaving his old life in the US and inventing a new one in Canada. This starts a journey of new discoveries. But can we really escape our grief? That's what Jake, now John, is going to try to figure out.
